Little Bit of Heaven Ranch has been breeding Peruvian horses for over 30 years. We pride ourselves for selecting and breeding some of the finest horses for riding, showing and breeding. Our aspiration is to produce strong foals with proper conformation and gait that exceeds breed standards with superior quality and outstanding temperments. 

Ranch owner Rita Rothenberg was introduced to horses by a neighbor at a very young age,

". . .and I have been hooked every since", laughs Rita. Rita loves all horses and has owned Cutting Horses, Hunter Jumpers, Tennessee Walkers & three and five gaited horses. 

 

One day she and a friend read an article about Peruvian Horses and set out to buy one.  She purchased a wonderful mare and soon her entire family wanted one of those "smooth riding" horses.

"I love everything about these horses," Rita smiles, "their disposition is unbelievable.  They are truly partners with a desire to please."  

"Of all the breeds I have owned, this is my favorite, so we began breeding them about 30 years ago and love sharing the Peruvian Horse with others," Rita added.
